Damn Presidential Campaign
I am not in a battleground state nor do I watch enough TV to get the full spectrum of TV ads. I have not paid very much attention to the news because they don't report fact, they report what is spewing from the candidate's mouths.I am just sick over this election though. This is the first time that I have been so emotionally tied to an election. I have tried to avoid feeling a 'them' vs 'us' mentality without any luck. I am scared of what happens if either candidate is elected. I am worried about these final days leading up to the election and what possibly might happen in the US. I am concerned about terrorists exacting some sort of attack to throw off the election. After all, isn't this what they want to do?
More than anything, I am let down and disappointed to see 2 grown men who both want to win my vote tell lie after lie to get my attention. I am saddened to hear both sides spew forth exaggerations and half-truths to make the other candidate look worse. But most of all, I am upset to realize that this behavior isn't going to end anytime soon and that the elections that follow this one will be just as bad, if not worse.
Maybe it is time to move. Lisa, send me some brochures.

I'm on it! Sorry it's gotten so crappy. This is a pretty ugly one for sure. I am always amazed that there is a new low that can be stooped to. Have a great weekend.
