Fun stuff, not so fun stuff

Today was busy. I got up, made breakfast for the family and then we all went to the Children's Museum of Richmond. It was Phil's first time so we had to go through the whole thing. I was pulling Phil away from toys and exhibits to be with Vivienne. I suppose Children's Museum is just too broad. We stayed for a good 2 hours, came home and fed the baby lunch.

I had to take Griffon to the vet, where I stayed for almost 2 hours. On my way out, there was a dog being rushed in who wouldn't come out of a seizure. I was thankful that I was just there for x-rays and some blood tests. I can't imagine having to carry a 45 lb dog to the vet while seizing. Ugh.

When I got home Vivienne was still awake. She usually naps after lunch, but Phil was having a hard time getting her to fall asleep. What a fun surprise for me. So we ate our lunch and played a little longer. Vivienne finally went to sleep at 3pm. I did my housewifely duty of falling asleep on the sofa while Phil mowed the lawn. Phil then went for a motorcycle ride.

I had to wake Vivienne up at 6pm, seeing as how she goes to bed at 730pm. We decided to go to Best Buy and pick up the new Jimmy Eat World CD, go to World Market and shop for item not needed (because I am convinced that there isn't anything there that one needs. We ate dinner at Long John Silver's (which I know I will pay for in about 2 hours) and came home.

Vivienne is now bathed and being sang to by her Dad in her room. Soon Phil and I will watch 'SuperSize Me' and go to bed early. A rather full day, but with nothing much to show except for a Japan Poster, a $241 Vet bill, and indigestion.
