Updates

Ok, better do a quick update or my loyal blog following will disown me:

Job - At my urging, Phil quit his job two weeks ago amid several pending freelance "definitely possible" jobs - this is what Phil calls something that is bound to happen but not agreed upon yet. One of them came through, the biggest payout, which helps us to live our comfortable lifestyle for 2 more months at least.

Movies - Stacey turned me on to Netflix. We have watched 4 movies already. Pretty cool for someone who hates to watch movies.
*Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind - SO GOOD! Highly recommended. Made me laugh out loud and even cry a little. Plus, Kate Winslet with blue hair is a plus for everyone.
*Secretary - James Spader and spanking. Yes please, sign me up.
*The LadyKillers - Cohen's always make such beautiful movies. They are SO wordy though. I needed a dictionary just to keep up at times (which is so weird cuz I is so smart).
*Connie and Carla - FUN! Along the lines of "Strictly Ballroom" which is one of my all time guilty pleasures. Showtunes and drag queens, what could be better?

We are sitting on Devil's Playground, Donnie Darko, and American Splendor right now. Reviews to come shortly.

Boredom - I am so bored now. I love not having to work, but Vivienne is really slowing me down in the "getting things done" department. I have so many ideas and chores and things that need to be addressed around the house. I was so hoping that her independence of being a toddler and not afraid to roam from my side would carry over to her playing independently. But alas, if it does not involve the television, she isn't interested. Could be worse, I could be bored AND have worms.

Thats all I have time for right now. I have to go pry Vivienne from the TV now.
